*First -Aid Training @ Dunavil 7pm to 9.30pm on Thursday 20th & Friday 21st October ONLY if there are TWELVE to do it. Need NAMES by 12pm Friday 7th October or it won’t go ahead

 

*On Friday 7th October from 6.30pm @ Dunavil, Kingdom Youth Club’s Safe Driving programme continues with Kilkeel Fire Service staging a simulated accident and cutting open a car to free a trapped motorist. While this is part of the Safe Driving project being run in conjunction with the Assets Recovery Community Scheme it is open to everyone to attend and see the local fire men in action. Also on the night as part of the GAA ‘Live to Play’ road safety programme everyone signing in for the event will be entered into a free draw for a ‘Live to Play’ jersey and for a ‘Live to Play’ rucksack.  So be sure to be here on Friday and be sure to sign in for the free draw.

 

*Brian Laverty Ulster Camogie Regional Development Officer,will come to Dunavil at 7pm on Tuesday 18th October, to meet with some of the coaches to plan out an autumn/winter coach education programme aimed at increasing the number of coaches and easing coaches into coaching which can be a daunting task for any new parent getting involved.

 

 

*Football Coaching Officer Seamus Curran has called a football coaches’ meeting for 7.30pm on Tuesday 18th October to discuss an autumn / winter programme of activities to increase and improve our coaches. Currently he is sourcing a coach for Thursday mornings at Gaelscoil na mBeann.
