Sean and Tara attended the Sports Association meeting in Ballymartin on Tuesday.

 

Bonnie attended the Club Coaching Officer workshop in Newcastle also on Tuesday.

 

Thirteen juvenile coaches attended the ‘Coaching the Coaches’ night with Steven Poacher at Dunavil again on Tuesday past; well done Barry, Brian, Colin, Daiva, Declan, Gavin, Jerry Lee, June, Martin, Paddy, Paul, Peter and Turlough. Thanks to Steven for giving his time, the coaches found it most useful.

 

Meanwhile Philip Kerr and Kevin Coary put the Senior Footballers through their paces on Saturday at Dunavil.

 

And Ger Gribben and Joe Baldwin continue twice weekly wall ball practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays until the end of February, you can already see improvement in the players’ first touch.

 

Amy, Anna, Caitlin, Darragh, Edward and Jack attended the Interclub youth event on Friday; the next activity is in Atticall on 17th February.

 

Dunavil hosted the Peadar Barry and Pat Doyle Sevens on Friday with sixteen Secondary Schools from three counties participating.

 

The ‘Healthier Lifestyle’ programme designed by the young people has already completed two week’s activities and continues Wednesdays at 6.30pm.

 

The Men’s Shed visited Armagh Men’s Shed on Wednesday and took in some sight- seeing.

 

 

The opening fixtures for the Footballers are Senior away to Burren on 7th April and Reserves away to Bryansford on 9th April.
