The U14 Footballers lost in Bosco 5-16 to 3-5.

 

The Senior Camogs beat Bredagh 3-12 to 0-5.

 

The Junior and U18 Camogie matches with Clonduff and Kilcoo were postponed due to a shortage of referees.

 

The U14 Camogs beat Dromara at Dunavil.

 

The P5/P6 Footballers played out the second round of the Mourne League last Tuesday and now host the other teams for the final rounds at Dunavil.

 

The Camogie Foundation Award concluded on Thursday, thank you to all the new coaches, the children can only benefit from their enhanced confidence and knowledge.

 

Well done to Orlaith O’Rourke who finished the Ulster Puc Fada in 13 shots, just two shots behind the winner.

 

As part of Men’s Health Week, the Men’s Shed held a hearing loss workshop with the charity ‘Action on Hearing Loss’.

 

The Senior Footballers lost to Warrenpoint.

 

The P3/P4 Footballers played a tournament at Belfast enjoying games with the hosts Sarsfields, St Johns, Wolfetones, Gort Na Mona, St Patricks and Cardinal O’Donnells. Thanks to the coaches and parents who travelled making the trip possible.

 

The U14 Footballers played a tournament in Atticall competing with Atticall, Bryansford, Clonduff and Aughlisnafin.

 

Thanks to everyone who gave a hand with the clean-up day at Dunavil on Saturday, there was a lot done, the list of remaining jobs are displayed at the office if anyone else wants to help.

 

Good luck to Conor Clarke and the Down Minors on Saturday.

There is a big push on now to complete the ‘Cow Pat’ squares, anyone who can help part fill a sheet should collect one and part fill it before returning it for someone else to fully complete.

 

An Riocht Kellogg's GAA Cúl Camp runs from 10am to 2.30pm from Monday 3rd to Friday 7th July for aged 6 to 13 years and Nursery Camp from 10am to 12.30pm for children who have just completed P1 or P2 in school; for more information or to collect a form contact club co-ordinator Seamus Curran.

 

They’re back, every Thursday morning during July & August Car Boot Sales at Dunavil (indoor if too wet).

 

From August to January three inclusion programmes at KYC; on Wednesdays 7pm to 9pm for 20 weeks aged 13+, ‘All Together Now’ buddy up with a young less able person from our area; on Thursdays 6.30pm to 9.30pm for 21 weeks aged 13+, ‘Bridging the Divide’ buddy up with a young person who is new to our area or who has english as a second language. Plus, Kingdom Inclusion Kids (KIK), a support group for parents and younger children (u13), dates & times of activities to be confirmed to suit you. Please attend the Inclusion Open Night on Wednesday 19th July to gauge if there is enough take-up for this project.

 

The Thursday evening group work with our younger members continues to prove popular, it runs from 6.30pm to 9pm and includes all sorts of arts and crafts activities; also on Thursdays are pre-teen girls’ activities with Aedin.
