In U14 Camogie Kilclief beat An Riocht 7-6 to 5-0

At the U18 Camogie An Riocht beat Bredagh 4-16 to 1-7

At U18 Football, An Riocht lost to Longstone 2-16 to 3-15 and with a little more urgency could have taken something from the match. Team: Joel Cunningham, Thomas Murnion, John Joe Eakins, Jack Rodgers, Philip Curran, Rory Quinn 1-0, Conor Clarke 0-3, Christopher Flanagan, Caomhan Campbell 0-1, Ronan Campbell 1-6 (2f), Cormac Clarke, Eoin Sloan 0-4, Patrick McComiskey 0-1, Ryan Mackey 0-1.

In the Junior Camogie An Riocht beat Atticall 4-16 to 5-2. After falling behind to two frees, An Riocht hit back with a Ciarrai Connor goal quickly followed by a second major from Ellie Hughes and after hitting the bar and post Tiarna Donnan eventually found the net to leave An Riocht 3-6 to 2-2 ahead at the end of the half.  Points from Lauren Clarke and Aoife McDowell either side of the break eased An Riocht clear after Atticall had caught us with two quick fire goals and with the midfield and defence coming into their own in the second half, An Riocht ran out comfortable winners by the finish. Team: Andrea O’Neill, Tara Bowater, Caoimhe McAlinden, Caoimhe Leigh Spiers, Caitlin Quinn, Sarah Rodgers, Charlene Whyte, Patrice Matthews, Aine O’Reilly 0-2, Aoife McDowell 0-4, Lauren Clarke 0-9, Tiarna Donnan 1-0, Ellie Hughes 1-0, Ciarrai Connor 2-0, Emma Cousins 0-1. Sub Clare Fearon

In the U12 Camogie An Riocht lost to Ballyholland

An Riocht beat Warrenpoint 6-11 to 2-4 in the U16 Football at Dunavil on Thursday. The visitors stunned An Riocht with an early goal but thereafter it was one way traffic with An Riocht on top in defence and at midfield providing lots of ball to the attack which only performed in spurts; the pick of the play being Dylan Nugent’s first half goal and Christopher Flanagan’s sublime passes to Lorcan Donnan for his goal and to Ross Colgan for his second goal. Team: Joel Cunningham, John Joe Eakins, Lorcan Donnan 1-0, Jack Rodgers 0-1, Cormac Clarke, Eoin Killen, Christopher Flanagan 1-1, Caomhan Campbell, Ross Colgan 2-0, Aidan Gribben 1-0, Dylan Nugent 1-2, William John Harper, Eoin Sloan 0-7 (3f). Subs: Ryan Quinn, Michael Greenan, Ben Rafferty, Ryan Cunningham
