KYC are running a twelve-hour Charity Indoor Football Marathon for secondary school kids on Friday 4th August from 9pm - 9am; anyone interested in participating should let the club know no later than Monday 24th July so fixtures and sponsor sheets can be distributed.

Inclusion Programmes @ KYC

‘Kingdom Inclusion Kids’ (KIK) Disability Youth Programme. A support group for parents and younger children (u13). Dates & Times of activities to be confirmed.

‘All Together Now’on Wednesdays 7pm to 9pm for 20 weeks aged 13+, buddy up with a young less able person from our area.

‘Bridging the Divide’ on Thursdays 7pm to 9pm for 21 weeks, buddy up with a young person who is new to our area or who has english as a second language.

If interested, find out more by attending our Open Nightfor all three programmes between 7pm to 9pm on Wednesday 19th July or speak to a Youth Support Worker at the club.

In the U14 Camogie league, Ballyholland failed to field at Dunavil

 

An Riocht would like to thank Atticall for visiting with u10s and u12s Camogs on Saturday morning for a few friendly games. U12 team: Emma Harper, Sophie Sloan, Aoife Rooney, Lauren Cunningham, Caitlin Harper, Bobbi Jo Campbell, Niamh Hardy, Cerys Finnegan, Niamh Maginn, Abbie Mc Comiskey, Anna Quinn. The girls played well and had some good puck outs from Emma in goals, great defence with Sophie holding up the backline supported by Aoife and Lauren. We had some lovely play in midfield with Niamh, Caitlin and Bobbi Jo working together as a team with great support play and passing. Cerys was strong in forwards with Abbie and Niamh Maginn working well together. Anna came on at half time with great play in backs catching an attempted hand pass into the goals!The girls played well as a team and need to keep up the training as a team!Player of the match Bobbi Jo Campbell. Afterwards the players had juice and fruit and the adults tea and biscuits.

 

 

At the Summer Scheme, some of our young recyclers made a suit of clothes out of old newspapers. There was also a trip to Formula Karting and Snap Chat Filter Making for the older kids and clay and play-doo making for the younger ones.
