An Riocht Social team took part in Aughlisnafin Sevens on Saturday. The lads were grouped along with Aughlisnafin and St Johns, winning both games to progress to the cup semi final. This game pitched us against Dromara and the lads ran out comfortable winners to reach the final. In the final we played St Johns again who proved a tough nut to crack as it finished a draw, extra time still could not split the teams so a penalty shoot-out was the only option. After ten spot kicks each the sides were still level.
The wise decision to share the trophy was made as none of these two teams deserved to lose on the day.
