This Tournament has been organised in accordance with County, Provincial & National regulations. The emphasis will be on enjoyment and playing against new teams. Teas and sandwiches, burgers, donuts, ice cream and juice will be on sale.

33 teams have entered, there are 8 pitches in use and if there is any change to anyone’s entry please contact An Riocht by telephone on 028 4176 3681 or by email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. by Thursday 24th May before the draw is made. The first 8 games will throw-in at 10.30am, with the finals taking place between 2.45pm and 3.30pm, each team is guaranteed at least three group games plus a minimum of one knockout game. There is an entry fee of £25 for this underage tournament. DE Photo, Professional Sports Photographers, will be providing action photos of the matches to purchase (www.dephoto.biz), this proved very popular last year.

At the Burren Tournament on Saturday An Riocht reached the Shield semis where we exited to the hosts after a great days football.

U10 Football Matches are every Monday

U10 Football Matches are every Monday starting next Monday with a home game at Dunavil. Players are requested to be at Dunavil for 630pm for home games and 615pm for away games. Travel to away games will be by car and parents / family members are requested to come along to ALL the matches to support the team and those giving up their time to take them

O’Donovan Rossa Magherafelt win Jim Mulholland Cup

The Jim Mulholland Cup U10 Football 11-a-side tournament took place at Dunavil on Saturday.

33 teams from 9 different counties played 90 matches before O’Donovan Rossa Magherafelt emerged Cup victors with a win over Clonduff; Tir Na nOg Moy beat Bailieboro Shamrocks in the Shield Final; and Rostrevor beat Kilmacud Crokes ‘A’ in the Plate Final.

Thanks to all the volunteers who assisted throughout the day, over 50 people helped make the day a good success.

An Riocht U10 Footballers attended the Daniel Andre tournament in Clonduff on Saturday enjoying matches with Ballyholland, St Michaels, Carrickcruppin, Bredagh, Carryduff and Saul. Team: Cormac Clarke, Caolan Cunningham, Ryan Cunningham, Curtis Flanagan, Reece Flanagan, Aidan Gribben, Cameron Harper, William John Harper, Eoin Killen, Shane Quinn, Jude Mathews, Tiernan Rooney.

Clonduff and Longstone joined An Riocht U8 footballers in a Go Games blitz at Dunavil on Saturday. An Riocht had two teams taking part which is a good sign for the future.

The U10 Footballers took part in a South Down Blitz on Saturday and played excellent the whole way through, playing matches against Glenn, Bosco, Saval & Rostrevor. The players were: William-John Harper, Darragh Baldwin, Eoin Killen, Jack Rodgers, Ryan Mackie, Curtis & Reece Flanagan, Shane & Ryan Quinn, Ross Colgan, Michael Grennan, Jerry-Lee McVeigh, Aaron Gribben and Nanette Campbell.
