An Riocht v Bredagh

An Riocht Reserves beat visiting Bredagh 0-11 to 0-10 on Sunday. The first half was an end to end affair with An Riocht ahead at the break by 0-7 to 0-4 after some stylish play characterised by long kick passing. Bredagh had much the better of the third quarter and after forcing four fifties in quick succession narrowed the deficit to the minimum before An Riocht captain Brian Sloan came up with two late points to provide some needed breathing space and though the city side finished strongly An Riocht had done just enough to collect the league points on offer.
