An Riocht Senior Footballers - Latest News

Senior Football in Atticall

At the Senior Football in Atticall, An Riocht had the result secured as early as the fifteenth minute by which time we led 2-4 to nil. After Conor Cole had opened the scoring, Sean Clarke ghosted in for two goals in as many minutes and with Martin Clarke chipping in with three points, the match was already beyond the home side.

The more the hosts pressed, the bigger the gaps they left behind them and we picked off points at will to keep the scoreboard ticking over going in 2-7 to 0-4 at the break.

There was no let up for Atticall on the restart with An Riocht kicking the first five points of the half. A couple of scores in reply only triggered a burst of goals from An Riocht with Deaglan Morgan and Brian Rodgers adding one apiece and Sean Clarke completing his hat trick before Martin Clarke finished off the scoring with his sixth score of the night. Team: Brendan McVeigh, John O’Rourke, Deaglan O’Reilly, Michael Clarke, Conor Doyle 0-1, Paul Allen, Liam McVeigh, Rory Cunningham 0-1, Kory Colgan, Declan Doyle 0-1, Deaglan Morgan 1-1, Conor Cole 0-2, Noel McArdle 0-1, Sean Clarke 3-0, Martin Clarke 0-6 (4f).
