The U14 Footballers lost in Longstone by 0-8 to 9-24 and again three days later despite a much improved performance to Tullylish 0-15 to 5-6. Then on Monday Annaclone failed to field at Dunavil.

Eight teams from five different Counties will contest the Paul Farrell Cup & Shield

Eight teams from five different Counties will contest the Paul Farrell Cup & Shield U14 seven-a-side football tournament at An Riocht on Saturday 2nd May; the first games throw-in at 10.30am, with the finals from 2.30pm.

The competing teams are:
Group 1: An Riocht Down, Killeavy Armagh, Tir Na OgDown, Walterstown Meath.

Group 2: Kilcoo Down, Michael Davitts Antrim, Longstone Down, Toome Monaghan.

Games are 7.5 minutes per half with straight turn around. Normal rules apply. If two teams are tied at the end of the group stage then ‘head to head’ result will determine positions. If more than two teams are tied a draw will be made for positions.
