Building the Community-Pharmacy Partnership

A series of events to promote health & wellbeing and build stronger partnerships between the local pharmacist and older community members through access to health information, advice and services (e.g. referral, medicine management, minor ailments, smoking, home delivery, palliative care etc) starts Tuesday 15th September from 7.30pm to 9pm @ The Kingdom Club, 10 Dunavil Road Kilkeel (transport available to and from events on request, call 028 4176 3681).

At the end of each session we will chat informally to make sure participants are happy and know that they are the drivers of this project and it is based on their need.

We are aware that some may have health issues they don’t want to talk about in the group so the pharmacist will remain for 15 minutes after each session to chat one to one with anyone that wants.

This is a ‘whole’ community initiative, you do not need to be a club member to take part.
