No Need 4 Speed

Kingdom’s Safe Driving programme ‘No Need 4 Speed’ is filling up quickly so if interested let us know asap. Those who complete the programme in full will receive a certificate, and financial assistance with driving lessons. This is a ‘whole community’ project and Kingdom welcomes interest from young people who may not be regular attendees of Kingdom. Anyone interested should call out to the club and speak to Lee. This project is funded by ARCS and will incorporate the Ulster GAA ‘Live to Play’ road safety education project.

Its August already and thoughts turn to the autumn/winter programme at Dunavil. The Safe Driving project is a great one to get things started but if you have any thoughts on activities you want included then let one of the leaders or board members know. Sherman Hall has offered to continue Basketball practice into the dark evenings so if there is enough interest that could be a worthwhile activity for a number of age groups over the duration of one night a week.
