blood donation session at Dunavil

There will be a blood donation session at Dunavil in late February / early March. The Blood Transfusion Service requires 100 people aged 17+ to sign up to this event and enrolment cards are available from the club office. This is a community initiative and everyone is encouraged to complete an enrolment card, you do not have to be a club member to help.

Details of An Riocht upcoming Tournaments

An Riocht tournaments are now registered at County, Provincial and National levels. Details are as follows:

Saturday 4th May 7-a-side U14 (on 1st January 2013) Football Paul Farrell Cup& Shield

Saturday 18th May 11-a-side U8 (P3/P4) Football Kingdom Cup & Shield in accordance with Go Games rules

Saturday 1st June 9-a-side U12 Football (P7/Y8)  Brian O’Hare Cup & Shield in accordance with Go Games rules

Saturday 15th June 11-a-side U10 (P5/P6) Football Jim Mulholland Cup & Shield in accordance with Go Games rules

Sunday 30th June 9-a-side U12 Camogie Patsy Conkey Cup & Shield

Sunday 30th June 7-a-side U16 Camogie Sharon Morgan Cup & Shield

Saturday 7th September 7-a-side Social Football (for adults who do not play in competition) JG Donnan Cup & Shield 

All our Tournaments have been organised in accordance with County, Provincial & National regulations. The emphasis in all the tournaments will be on enjoyment and playing against new teams. Teas and sandwiches, burgers, ice cream and juice will be on sale. The first games each day will throw-in at 10.30am, with the finals taking place at 3pm, each team is guaranteed at least three group games plus a minimum of one knockout game. There is an entry fee of £25 for each underage tournament (£50 for Social Sevens).  DE Photo, Professional Sports Photographers, will be attending some of the events providing action photos of the matches. Whats Happening This Week - 20th - 27th Dec 2011

Friends of Grange PS are running a joint fund raiser at Dunavil on Tuesday 27th December which will be preceded by a football/camogie match involving many of the recently selected club All Stars.

 

Upcoming An Riocht Activities 24th Oct 2012

On Wednesday 24th October the Club Comhairle review comes to a close with the third night concentrating on an overview to include Publicity / Marketing / Recruitment / Volunteering / Cultural / Club Maith & Any Other Aspects of Club Life You Want To Discuss. Anyone with an interest in the Club or who has missed out on these informative evenings is encouraged to come along to this final get-together. The new An Riocht Promotional DVD will be playing each night and tea / coffee will be available from 7.15pm.
