An Ríocht Social Initiative: ‘The Last Watch'

An Ríocht Social Initiative Group in association with ‘The Last Watch’ presented Pat Power’s “The Beacons of Carlingford Lough” last Saturday before an appreciative audience at Dunavil. The Last Watch is an Irish owned company offering short breaks to some of Ireland’s most scenic lighthouses and talks on their history.

Former lighthouse keeper Pat Power worked on over 20 different lighthouses around the Island of Ireland during his 15 years service with the Commission of Irish Lights. Pat, now turned pharologist presented his first hand experience of life on an Irish lighthouse and an historical presentation on the “Beacons of Carlingford Lough” which was of huge local interest.
