His-story & Health project

The Kingdom Men’s Shed are taking part in a ‘His-story & Health project’; the men meet weekly over the course of a couple of months and write or record their stories/memories of youth, growing up, etc and hopefully gather these up into a booklet at the end of the 8 or 10 weeks. If it sounds like something you may be interested in then come along on Wednesday morning between 11am and 1pm.

Also the Men’s Shed are currently celebrating a successful application to SHSCT which will assist them in promoting and expanding their activities and the service they provide.

The next trip for the Social Initiative is to the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin on Thursday 12th March, to book a place contact Tom at the Men’s Shed asap.
