Are you interested in Coaching in An Riocht in 2021 – Everyone showing an interest in coaching must complete an application form
We are always open to new coaches looking to get involved in football coaching especially at primary school age. GAA Football Coaching courses will be available over the next few months.
Application forms are now available by emailing An Riocht Football Coaching Officer Thomas sloan on thomassloan@yahoo.co.uk
Teams are from;
- Nursery/P1
- P2/P3
- P4/P5
- U11.5
- U13
- U15
- U17
- Reserve
There are 3 coaching roles which you can decide what role would suit best;
Head Coach
plan the practice session, identify targets and improvements for each player oversee the practice session and the matches, communication.
Assistant Coach
to assist the Head Coach in all of the above
Coach Assistant
to take the register of attendance, equipment, etc.
In order to be accepted as a coach you must meet the following;
- Member for An Riocht (Details of members to follow next month)
- GAA Access (NI) Check (We can help with this)
- Child Protection (Courses will be available in the new year)
- A GAA Football Coaching Qualification (which will be available In the new year)
In order for coaches to be allocated to teams we ask that the form be returned and emailed back to Thomas Sloan by Thursday 24th December
This form is only for people to choose the team they wish to be involved in, not to choose the team they want to manage
