Dear Member,
Following recent COVID-19 updates from the Ulster Council, the Committee has decided to cancel all games and related activity for the remainder of the 2020 year.
The Committee would like to thank everyone for the tremendous effort and excellent compliance with COVID-19 regulations during this period of games restart. From Mentors and COVID supervisors, from young people and their parents/guardians who ensured that they updated their health declarations before every game/training session, you all have contributed massively to a safe return to our games. Well done and Thank You!!
We even managed to win South Down and All County competitions during this hectic period, congratulations to all involved in this success.
In the coming weeks the club will continue to follow advice and guidance from the GAA and NI Executive.
During this time the club lottery will continue (£16,600 this week!!!) and we will also attempt to hold our AGM virtually. We’ll continue to provide updates via social media as and when we get them and promise to keep you posted on club gear deliveries for Christmas.
We appreciate that this is a difficult time for all our members and I wish to extend a hand of support to anyone who may need it. Simply make contact with any club member and we will help in any way we can in a confidential and safe way.
We wish you and your families the very best for the coming weeks. Please stay safe; please act responsibly in keeping your loved ones safe as well.
We all look forward to the day when we can welcome you back to Dunavil.
