This Week’s Results:
The u14 Ogs overcame visiting Saval 7-8 to 2-7 on Monday evening.
It was a hard fought win for the u18 Footballers at Dunavil against Warrenpoint. The team were six points down at half time but turned the second half around and came out winners on a score line of 2:9 to 0:10 (PHOTO).
The Senior Camogie lost away v Ballygalget by 6-21 to 0-2.
Well done to An Ríocht G4MO team on their recent game v Longstone. It was a great evening and thanks to Longstone for the hospitality. Training continues each Wednesday night if you are interested, get in touch.
The u16 Footballers lost at home to Drumgath 0-6 to 3-7.
The u12 Camogs were away to Carryduff on Thursday but their game with Naomh Mhuire at Dunavil on Saturday did not take place.
The Senior Footballers returned to winning ways at home v Rostrevor on a 0-10 to 0-7 scoreline. Amid a thunderstorm An Ríocht almost kicked themselves out of contention registering misses into double figures while from fewer opportunities the visitors had opened a three nil lead by the eighteenth minute. A strong finish to the half saw An Ríocht take a 0-4 to 0-3 advantage into the break. Rostrevor enjoyed a better restart and went in front before the teams were tied on six, then seven points apiece. An Riocht assumed control after that early flurry and edged further and further ahead finishing comfortably clear by the final whistle. Match Ball sponsored by MH Plastering.
The u14 Camogs travelled to Portaferry on Friday.
The u18 Camogs played in Cullyhanna at the weekend.
The p3/p4 and p5/p6 Camogs attended blitzes in Bredagh where they enjoyed games with Darragh Cross, Portaferry, Carryduff, Castlewellan, Ballygalget, Liatroim, Bredagh and Warrenpoint. Over the weekend An Ríocht underage Camogs travelled over 350 miles for games, quite staggering.
The u8 and u10 Hurlers were in Castlewellan at the weekend.
The p3/p4 Footballers attended a tournament in Clonduff.
The u12 Footballers were away v Longstone, the Gaels at home v Bosco and the Ogs also at home v Clonduff (PHOTO)
