u12 LGFA played their first game v Rostrevor on Sunday and u14 began their league season on Wednesday v Bryansford.

The u16 footballers played two challenge games against Rostrevor & Warrenpoint. Some brilliant moments in both games and they are moving in the right direction. Division 2 will be tough but these lads have the potential to strive, we should be in for a good season of football well done lads keep it up.

The u6 & u8 footballers had a blitz in Longstone.

The u12 footballers played Bryansford.

Well done to Adam Killen on making the Down u15 panel.

Well done to Christopher Lagan who represented Gaelscoil na mBeann and Sara McVeigh and Michael O’Hanlon who represented Grange at the Down Schools Skills in Bryansford this week.

The Minor Camogs began their league campaign on Monday with a high scoring loss to 6-7 to 6-5 to Aghaderg.

Congratulations to An Riocht Down Draw winners £5,000 Aidan McVeigh and £1,000 each to Steven Curran and Emma Rice. The Down Draw is An Riochts biggest fundraiser and costs just £2-50 a week and there’s still time to enter for this year with the first draw on 25th April.
